I would first like to wish our deepest condolences to both the Ballard and McCarty families. My wife Linda and I were both shocked and saddened to hear of all the news over the past few months regarding Brian's health and death.
I wish there was a way to express my feelings about the loss for Brian's 3 daughters and wife. We knew each other since 1964. These past few days thinking of him has convinced me that I have never met another person that comes as close to being the person that we all strive to be as Brian did. And possibly the best personality trait he had was his humility. I am sure knowing Brian made me better in many ways. I am proud to have been his friend. And my heart just aches for all the rest of us, especialy the girls knowing that Brian is gone from our lives. Mike & Linda Lowden.
