Norman John Yerkes, Sr. "Whitey", age 89 years, on July 20 at Pitman Manor, formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsauken, and Southampton. Born in Philadelphia, he was a longtime employee of Philco-Ford in Willow Grove, PA as Capt. of Security Supervisor. He was also a member of the Mozart Masonic Lodge #436 of Philadelphia.
Survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Florence (nee Roecker), sons Norman Jr., Raymond, and Kenneth, daughter Susan Keenan, daughter in laws Joy, Virginia, and Deborah, son in law Joseph Keenan, brother Herbert, grandchildren Lynette Heller, Norman III, Albert, Matthew, Eric, Bryon, Nathaniel, Alyse Carlton, Kenneth Jr., Melanie Abele, Summer and Joseph Keenan, George, Frank and Troy Chandler, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, July 26 after 11:00 am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service at 12:30pm.
