Obituary of Florence E. Carlton

Florence E. Carlton (nee Neuschafer), age 84 years, died July 23 at her daughter's home in Pitman. Born in Pennsauken, she lived in Pitman from 1950 to 1976, and then moved to Swedesboro. She was employed by CBS Records in Pitman as a Press Operator. Florence was a member of the Harrisonville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, crafter, and baker and was known as a very giving person. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Samuel Bennett Carlton, Jr, and her Favorite dog Mandy. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Arthur) McHugh and son Bennett (Teresa) Carlton, grandchildren; James, Kathleen, Emily and Joanna McHugh, Justin, Richmond, and Shelby Carlton, and great granddaughter Cora McHugh.
