Obituary of Palmyre Janyce Stack

Palmyre Janyce Stack (nee Blackman), age 82 died on September 11, 2015 at the Woodbury Mews where she lived for the last two years. Janyce was born in Atlantic City and lived in that area for many years. She also lived in Philadelphia, Florida and Georgia. She was a Professional Tap Dancer in Philadelphia appeared at the 500 Club in Atlantic City. Janyce owned and operated The Salvo School of Dance in Glassboro. For many years, Janyce taught dance to the hearing impaired and in her later years, she taught tap to senior citizens. Janyce was also very active in the Board of Education and the PTA in Margate. While she lived in Georgia, Janyce owned and operated Sweet Scents by Janyce. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Stack. Survived by her children Joanne Riley, Nadine (Jeff) Rinker, Anthony Salvatico, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and her sister. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery.
