Obituary of Doris H. Daniels

Doris Hall Daniels, 89, daughter of the late Andrew and Florence Hall, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2016 at Pitman Manor. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Beidler (Joe) of West Hartford, CT., sons Craig (Kathy) of Sewell, NJ and Scott (Wendy) of Travelers Rest, SC. Doris is also survived by 5 grandsons: Mike (Jeannie), Mark, Dennis (Sheree), Matt, and Greg, and 4 great grandchildren: Owen, Matt, Camdon and Aubrey. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, George Daniels. Doris was a 1943 graduate of Audubon High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the chorus. She was born and raised in Audubon, and lived in her childhood home, where she raised her family, until 2011 when due to health issues she became a resident of the Pitman Manor. Doris was a mother and homemaker who enjoyed reading, travel, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Up until her passing, she spoke about her fond memories of Merchant Street, the annual 4th of July Parade in Audubon, and her memories of AHS. A private funeral service will be at the Kelley Funeral Home, Pitman, NJ followed by interment at Camden County Veteran's Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
