Obituary of Theresa Rizzolo

Theresa Rizzolo (nee Capezzano), age 82 of Pitman, NJ died from complications of an auto accident on January 27, 2016. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Rizzolo and son in law Richard Anderson. Devoted mother to Keith (Laurie) Rizzolo, Lisa Anderson and Gina (Jesse) Epstein. Adored Grandmother to Danielle, Matthew, Michael and Myah. Dear sister to Ann Maurillo, Al Pagano and recently deceased Nancy Rizzolo. There are also many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. Theresa and John owned and operated the Highlight in Clayton, NJ and John and Terry's Deli in Pitman, NJ. Theresa was a secretary for Flexatallic Inc. in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Theresa will be remembered for her gentle but strong way she lived her life. She lived for her family, guiding, nurturing, loving, supporting, playing with us and cooking for us. Theresa's home was a welcome place where many met, gathered, ate and became part of her family. Being Grandmom was her greatest joy in life, she only had unconditional love and open arms for each of them. She was also a proud member of The Winky Dink Club from grammar school and she treasured these lifelong friendships. Theresa was an avid reader, loved cooking for her family and entertaining, and crocheting with her crochet group. This elegant woman lived with grace and touched many lives with her kind heart and giving spirit. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 10am in Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish (Our Lady Queen of Peace Church), 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am.
