Obituary of Cynthia Ann Ventura

Cynthia Ann Ventura, age 58, of Pitman, NJ, passed away after a brief illness on the morning of April 22 with her family by her side. Cynthia is the daughter of her loving mother Catherine Ventura, sister to Joyce Seville (Joseph), niece to Uncle Pat Tursi, friend and long-time companion to John Christaldi. Cynthia's puppies, Snowflake, Jake, and Louis brought unconditional love and joy to her life and she loved them with all her heart. Cynthia grew up in Wenonah, NJ, and graduated from Gateway High School in 1976 and Gloucester County College. She spent her working career as a legal assistant at several prestigious law firms in Center City. Cynthia loved her community and served as President of the Town Watch Committee in Pitman. She helped set forth initiatives to help keep the town safe. Cynthia loved to spend time vacationing in Jamaica and summers at the Wenonah Pool and at the beach. Cynthia will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Visitation with the family from 10 to 11am, Memorial service at 11am. Contributions may be made in Cynthia's memory to an animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
