Obituary of Grace J. Davis

Grace J. Davis (nee Gerber), age 88 died on May 11, 2016 at the Pitman Manor where she lived for the last seven years. Born and raised in Tabernacle, NJ, Grace lived in Pitman over 60 years. She was an Executive Secretary for the Pitman Manor from 1973 while the building was under construction until she retired in 1989 to spend time with her grandchildren. Grace was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Pitman Manor Auxiliary. She was predeceased in 2000 by her husband of 52 years Elwood C. Davis. Survived by her children Dr. John E. (Debra) Davis, Brian C. (Monica) Davis, Jean M. Ennis (Harvey), grandchildren Leslie, Carey and Kevin Davis, Dr. Lauren Davis, Samantha Urbanski, Melissa (Rudolph) Budnick, Matthew Ennis, great granddaughter Michaela Budnick, sister Claire Shover, sister in law Eleanor Hargis and many nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Monday after 9:30am in the Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Bethel Cemetery.
