Obituary of Frank Carl Bushing

Frank C. Bushing, born March 18, 1924 died on May 12, 2016 at age 92. Frank was raised in East Pitman and Hurffville coming to Pitman in 1946. Frank graduated from Glassboro High School Class of 1942. He served in the US Army from 1944-1946 in the European Theatre and was a Purple Heart recipient. He worked at the Pitman Post Office for 37 years as a Letter Carrier. He was known as the Whistling Mailman. Frank enjoyed retirement for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Margaret (Marge), three children Barbara Zeek (Gary), Stephen (Robin) and Mark (Kirsten), four grandchildren Rebecca Zeek, Ryan Zeek, Kaitlyn Bushing, Lisa Richman (Paul Marone), and four great grandchildren. Private funeral service will be under the direction of the Kelley Funeral Home, Pitman, NJ. Burial will be in Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
