Obituary of Daniel Edward Haury

Daniel Edward Haury, Sr., 80 years, died on August 8 at his residence in Pitman. Born in Woodbury, NJ, he graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School in 1956, was formerly of National Park and lived in Pitman for the last 14 years. He was employed in the Appliance Service Industry for 40 years and also worked at the Acme in Woodbury where he was the Shop Steward. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5197 of National Park and was an avid runner. Predeceased by his brother John W. Haury, sisters Rita Houser and Catherine Britton, and stepson Frank Barry. Survived by his wife of 13 years Agnes (nee Dickerson), children; Daniel Jr. (Tammy), Jack, Georgianna DePrince, Suzanne (Andrew) Grigley, stepchildren; Kevin (Kathleen) Barry, MaryEllen (John) Covely, Karen Boucher, Jeffrey (Kristen) Barry, 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his brother Francis Witt. Friends may call on Monday, August 15, from 9:30 to 10:30AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral Mass at 11AM in Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman.
