Obituary of Margaret C. Hendlmyer

Margaret "Marge" C. Hendlmyer (nee Carpenito), age 90 died on September 6, 2016 at the Friend's Village where she lived since 2005. Marge was raised in Vineland and lived in Pitman from 1949-2005. In her later years, Marge and her husband Al enjoyed spending their winters in Florida. She was a Girl Scout Leader in Pitman for many years. Marge was an accomplished quilter and seamstress and enjoyed ceramics and playing cards with friends. She also loved spending time at antique car shows with Al. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John "Al" Hendlmyer. Survived by her children John A. Jr. (Brenda), Carol Ann Hendlmyer, Krista (Karl) Kendall, granddaughters Denise Hendlmyer (Lara O'Toole), Laura Hendlmyer, brothers Frank Carpenito, George (Claire) Carpenito, and great granddaughter Lucy Ella Hendle-O'Toole. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.
