Obituary of Katherine Rose Duca

Katherine Rose Duca (nee Giunta), age 89 years, died December 6 at Cooper University Hospital. Born in Glassboro, she had lived there all of her life. She was the oldest registered member of St. Bridget's Church. She was an avid golfer, bingo player, and a member of the Tall Pines Ladies Golf Club. Katherine was known for her spaghetti and meatballs. Predeceased by her infant children Roseann and Maryann, sister Mica DiClaudio, and brother Benjamin Giunta. Survived by her husband of 69 years, Peter J. Duca, children; Diane (Richard) Larzelere, JoAnne (John) Carothers, and Mark (Melanie) Duca. Also survived by her grandchildren; Andrew and Kelsey Larzelere, Dayna Carothers, Tara (William) Cox, John (Kelly) Carothers III, Eric Duca, and Kristie (Brian) Doughterty, 7 great grandchildren, her sister Francis Flamma and nephew John (Lisa DiMedio) Flamma. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30AM to 10:45AM in St. Bridget's Church, 125 Church Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Funeral mass at 11AM. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
