Obituary of Mervin D. Chew

Mervin D. Chew, age 91 years, of Pitman died December 23. Born in Pitman, he had lived there most of his life and graduated from Pitman High School in 1943. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was employed by DuPont as a Shipping Clerk for over 30 years. He was a CB and Ham Radio Operator. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Margaret (nee Kaiser), children; Mervin H. (Doris), Carol (Terry) Garwood, Bonnie Snodgrass, 6 grandchildren; Jennifer (Dan) Tyler, Gregory Garwood, Diane (Larry) and Linda (John) Rorer, Stephanie and David Snodgrass, and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers Kenneth and Robert Chew. Friends may call on Friday from 9 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment at Glouc.
