Joseph W. Wilson, age 91 died on April 26, 2017. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Joseph lived in Rochester, NY for several years where he met his beloved wife Norma at Eastman Kodak where they worked. He has lived in Pitman since 1972. He served in the US Army from 1943-1945 during World War II. Joseph received his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He retired as a Production Planner from Pomco Graphics in Philadelphia. Joseph's family was his greatest pleasure. His passion, however, was photography and was a member of the Photographic Society of Vineland for over 20 years. He also loved gardening and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
He was predeceased in January by his wife of 60 years Norma (nee Kent) and also by his son Alan Kent Wilson. Survived by his children Mark (Jean), Jeanette (Gilbert) Marquez, Rosemary (William) Godfrey, granddaughters Maria, Anita, Katherine, Maura and nieces Patricia (Patrick) Kerrigan and Janice Erickson.
Friends may greet the family on Tuesday 9:00-10:15am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 10:30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
