Obituary of Edna I Johnson

Edna I. Johnson (nee Haines), age 89, died July 6 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Township, NJ. Born and raised in Tabernacle, NJ she graduated from Mount Holly High School in 1945 and was valedictorian of her class. She moved to Washington Township in 1955 and worked for Dr. Kenneth Leese in Cherry Hill. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Hurffville, NJ and an avid traveler. Predeceased by her sons Ralph W. Johnson Jr, and Jeffrey N. Johnson. Survived by her husband of 68 years, Ralph W. Johnson, daughters; Barbara (Frank) Lanzer, and Joanne (Scott) Ogilvie, and grandchildren; Francis (Christina Black) Lanzer IV, David Lanzer, Mark Lanzer, Jennifer (Ryan) Kimmel, Jeffrey (Jamie) Johnson Jr., Timothy (Stephanie Mullica) Johnson, Raeann Johnson, and Zachary Ogilvie. Also survived by great grandchildren; Charlotte and Joslynn Kimmel, Aurianna Siciliano, and Wesley Johnson, daughter in law Cyndi Johnson, and brother Vincent Haines. Friends may call on Monday from 7-9pm in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ and on Tuesday from 10-11am. Funeral service at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
