Obituary of Elizabeth U. Paisley

Elizabeth Usinger Paisley, age 99 of Atco, NJ, formerly of Haddon Heights and Ocean City passed peacefully on August 21, 2017 at The Fountains at Cedar Parke. Elizabeth was a graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Secondary Education. She attended Temple University School of Music and taught Social Studies at Woodbury High School. She was a member of the Doctor's Wives Auxiliary to the West Jersey Health System, the Camden County Medical Society Auxiliary, the Woman's Club of Haddon Heights, the Historical Society of Haddon Heights, a 56 year member of the First United Methodist Church of Haddon Heights, a former member of the American Association of University Women and a Friend of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. At Fountains of Cedar Parke, she was actively involved in community events and activities serving as pianist for worship services and Fountains Community Chorus Programs. She was the wife of the late Dr. E. Spencer Paisley. She is survived by 3 children, Ellwood S. Paisley Jr. and wife Susan of Ocean City, Patricia A. Cooke and husband Jay of Ventnor, and Judith L. Paisley of West Chester, niece Janet Hill Amato of Philadelphia, 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family after 10am on Monday, August 28, 2017 in the Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ followed by a Memorial Service at 11am.
