Obituary of Thomas Paul Dole

Thomas Paul Dole, age 86 years, of Pitman, died peacefully on April 16. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived all of his life in Pitman and graduated from Pitman High School. He was an Eagle Scout and U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1952-54 as a Chaplain's Assistant. He retired, after 45 years of service, from Peter Lumber Company, formerly Robbins Lumber Company. A dedicated Christian who loved serving his Lord, Tom founded Gospel Ministries for the purpose of taking the word of God to people in prisons and nursing homes. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Helene M. (nee Moll), daughter Deborah, son Thomas R. (Jo), and grandson Adam. Also survived by his brother Paul and sister Marie. One of the most generous and caring people one could ever meet, Tom's open heart and giving spirit touched many lives. He will long be remembered, loved and deeply missed by so many family and friends. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
