Obituary of Ralph Samuel Bullock, Jr.

Ralph Samuel Bullock, Jr., age 68 died on May 3, 2015. Ralph was raised in Atlantic City and Pleasantville. He moved to Glassboro in 1962 and graduated from Glassboro High School in 1964. Ralph attended Rutgers University. Ralph was a self employed optician and owned and operated Ralph S. Bullock and Sons in Glassboro and Woodbury Heights for over 51 years. Dedicated to his profession, Ralph was a member of the Guild Opticians, National Academy of Opticians and American Board Certified Opticians. He was a longtime member and President of the Pitman Lions Club. Ralph was also a long standing member of Ducks Unlimited and a charter member of Janvier Deer Club. An avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, he held season tickets since 1966. He also enjoyed fishing, trap and skeet shooting, boating and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lynn M. (nee Desiderio), daughters Denise (Ken) Patton, Kristi (Jeff) Procaccino, mother Alice (nee Joyce), sisters Barbara (Harlan "Bud") North, Phyllis (Gary) Beaufait, grandchildren Kelsey and Colin Patton, Nate, Samantha and Jake Procaccino and nephews Harlan and Brian North. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday 6-8pm and Thursday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. A celebration of his life will be at 11am.
