Obituary of Ronald Earl “Ron” Owens Jr.

Ronald Earl Owens, Jr., age 48 years of Pitman, NJ, died June 5 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Pitman and a member of the Army National Guard from 1976 80. He was a pipe fitter at Joule Industries of Gibbstown, NJ and for the past 2 years was employed by M. Davis Co., in Delaware. Survived by his wife, Gerri D. Owens, children Geoffrey N. of Malaga, Marybeth, Hillary Jean, Kellie E., and David J., all of Pitman, his mother Dorothy J. Owens of Holiday, FL, sister Susan Owens, and brother Russell Owens. He was a very caring person and a good uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
