Rosemary Grace Doebler (nee Ward) of Pitman, NJ passed away on December 2nd at home. Born in Martin's Ferry, OH, Rosemary lived in Pitman for more than 70 years. A graduate of Pitman High School and the Hahnemann University School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse before marrying and raising eight children. Rosemary was a loving mother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved playing cards and games with her grandchildren. She possessed a great sense of humor and her door was always open to family and friends of all ages. She would often entertain at her kitchen table or, during the warmer months, on her back porch, which she referred to as porching it. She looked forward to lunches and dinners with her friends The Rowdies. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters Patricia Coppola (Ron) of Chester Springs, PA; Judy Thorsen (Dave) and Rosemary Roberto (Gus), both of Pitman; five sons James Doebler of Glassboro; Steven Doebler (Maria) of Summerfield, NC; Thomas Doebler (Leslee) of Pitman; David Doebler (Sue) of Avon, CT; and Robert Doebler of Narberth, PA. Rosemary was proud of her 18 precious grandchildren; Ryan, Colon, Katie, Ricky, Jenny, Kyle, Joshua, Steven, Patrick, Christina, Robert, Gwen, Natalie, Rosemary, Michael, David, Stephanie, and Olivia. She will also be missed by: her sister Josephine Facciarossa of Pitman; three brothers Thomas Ward of Pitman; Jerry Ward of Bridgeton; and Patrick Ward of Victorville, CA; her best friend and next door neighbor Helen Fitzpatrick of Pitman; and many nieces and nephew to who Aunt Rosemary was very special. She is predeceased by her parents Francis and Fidelis Ward; her brother Bernard Ward; and her sister, Margaret Ward. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman on Thursday Dec 7 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., 600 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106. Arrangements by the Kelley Funeral Home, Pitman.
