Obituary of Virginia Y. “Ginny” Wear

Virginia Y. Wear (nee Young), age 88 went to be with her Lord on December 6, 2006. She was a graduate of Pitman High School Class of 1936. She has lived in Glassboro since 1966. Virginia worked in the President's Office at Glassboro State College and retired in 1983 after 19 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pitman where she was a past treasurer and member of the Woman's Club. She enjoyed sports and was an avid Eagles fan.
She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Survived by sons Richard L. (Joan) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert B. (Rosemary) of Richwood, grandchildren Richard T., Donald, James, Scott, Michael and Robert W. and 9 great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her many close friends, neighbors and church family.
Friends may call on Monday after 1pm at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 2pm. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
