John Clark Collier, Jr., age 85 years, died July 9 at Friends Village in Woodstown, NJ. Born in Irving, TX, he served in the U.S. Army from 1954-56 and was retired from ARCO as an Investigator. John served the Lord as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a life member and former chief of Highland Chemical Engine Company in Pitman, a member and past master of Pitman Masonic Lodge #197 F &AM. Predeceased by his stepson Richard Custer. He is survived by his wife M. Joan (nee Pye), sons; John C. III and Charles "Chuck" Collier, and stepson Steve Custer. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be at Eglington Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
