Angelo "Bud" Vincent DeRobertis, 74, of Audubon, New Jersey, passed peacefully in his sleep on 1/15/21. Angelo was born to Angelo and Ethel DeRobertis (Smith) on May 20, 1946, in Camden, NJ. He graduated from Audubon High School and received a Chemical Engineering Degree from Drexel University. He married Treasure Langley in 1974, and they lived together in Malaga, NJ where they raised their five children. Though divorced later on, they remained a constant fixture in one another's lives. He was preceded in death by Jessica DeRobertis and survived by Melissa DeRobertis (James Lafferty), Joel DeRobertis (Maureen Wilmerton), Maureen Ferrucci (Richard Ferrucci), and Jillian Bellone-McMaster. This proud family man was also blessed with seven grandchildren: Hailie, Isabella, Andrew, Dante, Eric, Emma, and McKenzie. Bud was always working on a new project, designing and building something, or trying a new kitchen gadget. He had many hobbies including art (he was an avid painter even through his final days), sports (soccer was his favorite but the Eagles were his #1 sports team), winemaking, studying the Bible, spending time in nature (camping was a must), space (especially aeronautics and astronomy), gardening, science, drumming (he was always keeping a beat wherever he went), woodworking (duck decoys were a favorite to make), birding, shopping, animals, cooking, and his children. He was employed by Voorhees Public Works as the Parks and Recreation Supervisor for over 30 years before retiring. He loved taking care of the playgrounds and parks. An avid storyteller, there was never a dull moment with Bud. He lived life to the fullest and loved sharing his experiences and making new memories with his family. A private burial gathering will be held on Friday for close family and friends at the Malaga Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation in Angelo's name at Parkinson.org.
