Obituary of Robert W. Wyatt

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert W. Wyatt, Jr, aged 86, passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Lord, Jesus Christ, at home on February 21, 2017. Robert was raised in Audubon, NJ by his loving parents Alberta and Robert Wyatt Sr. and lived most of his life with his love of almost 61 years, Eleanore, in Washington Township, and later Mullica Hill and Lakeland, FL. An avid fan of NASCAR racing, he also loved to golf, and spend time with his children and grandchildren. Robert, who was loving and generous, had a strong Christian faith, which he shared with his family. He will be remembered for his openly friendly, kind and forgiving nature. He served our country in the Army at White Sands Proving Grounds during the Korean War, and went on to a career in teaching and later school superintendent at Bellmawr Schools. He was a member of the Audubon American Legion, and was faithful to St James Lutheran Church in Pitman and Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland, FL. He will be deeply missed by his wife Eleanore (nee Heaney), his son Robert and his wife Michele of Woodbury, NJ, son Joseph and his wife Janette of Stow Creek, NJ, daughter Heather and her husband Robert of Mullica Hill, NJ, grandchildren; Zachary, Taylor, Madison, Michael, Liam, and Erin (Alfonso), 3 great grandchildren, and his beloved Corgi, Teddy Bear. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45AM at St. James Lutheran Church, 400 Columbia Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. Funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment Richwood Cemetery.
