Obituary of Helen Claire Lint

Helen Claire Lint (nee Roberts), age 84, died surrounded by her family on September 8, 2018 at her home in Glassboro where she lived since 1964. Born and raised in Youngwood, PA, Helen received her Bachelor's Degree from Clarion State College. A lifelong educator, Helen taught grade school at Ulm Germany Army Elementary School, Meyersdale Jr. High School, and Glassboro where she also directed school plays and helped develop the Project Write curriculum. She taught at Academy Street and over 23 years at Bowe School. Helen enjoyed traveling with Jerry in their trailer to 49 of the 50 states. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren and hosting gatherings of friends and family. Survived by her husband of 59 years Jerry N., children Elizabeth A. (Allen) Samuels, Mary M. (Karl) Schreder, Rick (Stephanie) Lint, grandchildren Zachary and Nathan Samuels, Sarah and Ethan Schreder, Kristen and John Lint and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Friday 7-9pm and Saturday 9:30-10:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be Saturday at 11am in St. Bridget's Church, 125 Church St, Glassboro, NJ. Interment will be private in Amity UCC Cemetery, Meyersdale, PA.
