Obituary of William Merrit Short

William Merrit Short, age 93, died on September 26, 2018. William lived in Washington Twp. since 1960. He served in the US Navy during World War II where he was in the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of Midway. He owned and operated Delaware Valley Builders for many years. Predeceased by his wife Isabel (nee Mellino), he is survived by his children Cynthia Short (Norman Parris) and William Short Jr.. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
