Obituary of Sue Carol Murray

Sue Carol Murray (nee Vanderslice), age 67, passed away on October 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Raised in West Deptford, Sue graduated from West Deptford High School in 1969. She lived in Pitman over 40 years. Sue was a Registered Nurse and most recently worked for Home Instead in Washington Twp. Sue loved her children dearly. She was a devoted daughter and cared for her elderly mother for many years. Sue also loved animals and cared for many small pets in her home which she lovingly called "Sue's Pet Sactuary." Sue was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Joseph E. Vanderslice, Jr. Survived by her children Summer and Michael Donahue, brothers Joseph E. Vanderslice, III (Marion), David J. Vanderslice (Claudia) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday after 10am in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, NJ 08071. Memorial service will be at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Summer Donahue to help with costs while placement is found for the pets in Sue's Sanctuary or to the Church of the Good Shepherd at the above address.
