Obituary of Patricia J. Marsella

Patricia J. Marsella (nee Dargan) received her wings on November 23rd, 2018. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was born on July 9th, 1954 and grew up in Pitman, NJ. In 1971, she was crowned Miss Pitman, and graduated Pitman High School in 1972. She attended college in Lucerne, Switzerland and graduated with a degree in fashion merchandising. In 1978, Patricia married the love of her life, Richard A. Marsella. This past August they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Patricia was a fashion model and a cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles. She worked at Macy's for several years, before fulfilling her dream of becoming a flight attendant. She traveled the skies for 28 years with American Airlines. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, and her four loving children. She was immensely proud of her three sons Richard, Daniel and Michael, and her daughter Casey (Matthew). She was the beloved sister of Christine, Stacy, Shawn, Michelle, Gregory, Kerry, Shannon and Danielle. Patricia was a wonderful sister-in-law who adored her nieces and nephews, and she was a fierce friend to many. Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helen Dargan, her brothers, Jeff and Teddy, and her father and mother-in-law, Richard and Angelina Marsella. She was a beautiful, intelligent, funny and kind woman who lived life to the fullest. Patricia loved her family and friends bigger than the sky & all the stars in it, and she will continue to watch over all those she loved from Heaven above. Friends may call on Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 8:30 – 10:45am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass at 11:00am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Mary Mother of Mercy Parish. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
