Obituary of Franklin W. Thurston

Franklin W. Thurston, age 75, died on January 15, 2019 at his home in Pitman where he lived since 1984. Frank worked for Camden County Board of Social Services, retiring in 2006 after 28 years. After retirement, Frank worked for the Borough of Pitman as a Crossing Guard. He was a social member of Pitman Fire Patrol. Predeceased by his wife Patricia A. (nee Leyman), daughter Christina and grandson Dominic. Survived by his children Samuel J. (Jennifer), Patricia (Scott) Powell, Dorothy Thurston (Percy Crisp), grandchildren Christina Marie, Kaitlyn, Stefanie, Jessica, great grandson Robert and brother Pete and William. Friends may greet the family on Friday after 9am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Pennsauken.
