Obituary of Paul Marlon Carew

Name: Paul Marlon Carew Our beloved Father left this this world and went to heaven surrounded by his family at his home in Pitman, NJ on March 2nd, 2019. Born on November 2, 1937 to parents Paul and Betty Carew (nee Stow). Paul grew up in Pitman and attended Pitman High School before joining the Army in 1955. After serving his country with honor he returned home and married Frances Smith whom he loved and cherished until the day he left this world. Paul worked as a carpenter and eventually owned his own business where he was a licensed building contractor for the State of Florida. Paul, a lifelong Christian and an ordained minister spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through leading prison, homeless and visitation ministries for the church. Paul also loved his family, friends and neighbors, doing much good for his fellow man. While he will be sorely missed, we are comforted by the fact that he is in heaven. "Well done thy good and faithful servant" Spouse: Frances Anna (nee Smith) Carew Children: Debra and Danny Keen, Michael and Linda Carew, Paul E. Carew and Jennifer, Theresa and David Rathell, Irene and John Kennedy, Mark and Trish Carew and Matt Carew. Grand Children: Danielle, Jesse, Travis, Evelina, Sheena, Cherie, Nicholas, Ciara, Garrett, Luke (deceased), and Gabrielle. Great Grandchildren: Gracelynn, Berlin and Kellan. Sister Pauleen Owens (nee Carew) Resident of current town: Pitman, NJ. 51 years. Previous town resided in: Lakeland, FL. 30 years. Cemetery: Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Clergy: Pastor Al McLeod – Mullica Hill Baptist Church Flowers would be graciously accepted or, for those who desire to contribute please donate to the Pro-Life Across America charity. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery.
