Obituary of David Paul Milward

David P. Milward returned home to the loving arms of our heavenly Father, on May 24, 2019 surrounded by his devoted family and friends. David was born in Everette, MA moving to Pitman in 1960, raising his family for forty years prior to his retirement to Delaware. Dave will be remembered as a family man in Christ. Devoted to his loving wife of fifty years, Elizabeth A. Milward and to his children Wayne and Kathleen Milward, Linda (Milward) and Don DiPorfilo, Bruce and Elizabeth (Glackin) Elias, Deborah (Elias) and Craig Kier, William and Cindy (Redrow) Elias, Susan (Elias) and Randy Felten, David Milward II, Robert Milward, John and Alex (Lehnosky) Milward. Dave also loved his 33 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons Arthur and Greg Elias and grandson Bobby Milward. He was a devoted husband, father and countryman. He served his country during the Korean War. Dave loved to fish, hunt, race motorcycles, and fly small planes. He was a retired superintendent of the Sheet Metal Union. Memorial mass will be 10:30am on Friday in Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. Interment Private.
