I'm was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. He and I joined Highland at the same time, graduated HS together and spent many nights at the firehouse in those early days. He was one the most respected member of the company, it was my great pleasure to serve with him and call him my friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and by his friends. RIP my friend!

I remember visiting Maggie an Frank after I had moved to Indiana. Some of Felicia's children's books were sitting on the coffee table and my husband and Frank were taking turns reading it!! Never laughed so hard in my life!! Good times......

I met Frank over 31 years ago when he was dating Maggie and participated in their wedding. Frank was a loving father to Felicia and husband to Maggie. The thing I will remember about Frank was that he had the best sense of humor and biggest smile. I will never forget his stories of being in the woods and all that went along with that such as the tree with baby rattlesnakes that he accidently cut into without knowing their was a snake nest. Now, you can all imagine him telling that story and all the rest that the told! Craig and I hope he is resting peacefully now...another one taken too soon. We'll miss you Frank, but know I will always be there for Maggie and Felicia!! Love Craig and Beth

I remember playing little league baseball with Frank on the Lions with his dad as the coach some 50 years ago. We remained friends throughout our school days. He always had a great story to tell. My condolences to his family. R.I.P. Frank

Great brother in law and all around guy. Always had a good time being around Frank. He did things his way and that was the right way. Very loving husband to Maggie and loved Felicia more than anything in this world, luckily Justin came along and Frank could have not been happier. RIP and keep logging in heaven. MISS YOU.

Dear Friends,
You can pick your friends, but not always pick your neighbors... For over 40 years, the Kane's have been like family. When I think of Frank, I will always see a smile. Many of us carry around clouds from time to time. But I will forever remember Frank for his sunshine. He had a wonderful infectious energy, and a friendly way about him.
I will miss hearing his truck accelerating up the street, and the beep-beep of the horn as he passed by his parents house and ours on his way to work. Things like that are his signature in our hearts. Things like that make a neighborhood a family. Never to be forgotten. Always to be treasured.

Frank was one of the neighbor kids. He was laid back and never had a bad word for anyone. I remember riding minibikes in the field behind the nursery, snowball fights and just generally hanging out. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to learn of Frank's passing. Marguerite and Felicia, and the entire Kane family, please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I met Frank in kindergarten no less and spoke to him several times in recent years. I never had a bad conversation with Frank in all of the decades in between. My favorite memories include our 20th high school reunion and plunges into Zee's pond as skinny little kids. I'm sure a theme that will repeat itself as others weigh in is that Frank was a hard working man, doing a job that most of us couldn't do for more than a couple of days but also had a lot of joy in life. What a great guy! Definitely an original character. For Frank's friends who might have a shot at heaven, rest assured that your buddy is clearing the way! Rest in peace, Frank. Know that you were greatly loved. Phil Stumpf
