John and I served in Pitman's Masonic Lodge line of officers together. I followed him as a Stewart and we pushed each other to learn and do the work properly. Frank Tarpey was Dist. Dep. at that time and you couldn't miss a single word with him or be called out for it. John was transferred to Texas with Arco. and when he returned at retirement he rejoined the line one chair behind me. The same friendship and closeness we have always had. He was my Senior Warden and became Master in 1992. My regards to his wife and family at the loss of such a good friend and brother.

John and Joan graciously took me under their wings as an investigator at the Vineland Ward. He was always so loving, warm, and funny. Sending my support and condolences to his family.

I’ve known John for almost 69 years when he first moved to Pitman I believe in 1951 from Texas he was a good friend and since high school we always worked on the class reunions together and I worked with John in the counting room at Highland Fire Company’s annual Carnival. John will be missed. My condolences to Joan and the rest of his family.
