Obituary of Michael Henry Chisarik

Michael H. Chisarik (71) passed away September 5, 2020 in Vineland, N.J. Mike was born in Camden County, NJ on July 4, 1949, the son of the late Michael and Florence Chisarik. He was preceded in death by his infant sister. He is survived by his three children: Keith, Julie, and Alex. Mike was educated at Glassboro State College where he earned a degree in art. He worked as a graphic designer for NARM and Owens-Illinois. He then became a freelance artist, designing specialized items for Disney, Goebel, Lenox, and the Franklin Mint. He had an exceptionally brilliant and creative mind, and until his health limited his activities, he was a prolific writer and avid reader. Mike had a passion for ocean liners, especially the Titanic and the Savannah, which his father helped to build. He thoroughly enjoyed good food and beverages, celebrating the holidays, traveling, New York City, and collecting quality bric-a-brac. Mike appreciated his friends, and the world around him. His family is proud of his decision to be an organ donor. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his caretaker of recent years, Linda Morris of Vineland, NJ, for the compassionate care she provided, and to the myriad other medical professionals who over the years helped to care for him. A service will be held on September 11, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071.
