Dear Marie, Sheri, and Tommy,
I can't say how deeply saddened I am to Tom's passing. I know he is in a better place now. As we go through life people and friends come and go. Tom surely didn't fit that bill in my life. Since I was a kid growing up and coming to the farm and the fur shop, I learned something new and enjoyed the stories of hunting, trapping, fishing and many other things.. and it was those times that inspired me to love and enjoy the outdoors so passionately then and now that I am older. I didn't come from a hunting family so Tom played a big part in introducing me to those things. He was a teacher, a mentor, and most a good friend to me. I will deeply miss him and I am a better person having known him.
Rest in peace Big Tom.

Tom was an Original Member of the Mantua Grove Community Advisory Panel Joining over 25 years ago.He was a very active member and always had some interesting and sometimes challenging questions for our industry representatives. His contributions over the years has helped to provide better communication between local industries, local government and neighbors. I shared two pictures of Tom one at our meeting and the during an outing the group had several years ago. He always had some good stories to tell before the meetings started, especially about his favorite pet cow.
He will surely be missed.

Dear Marie, Sheri, and Tommy,
We are so sorry to hear of Tom's (your dad's) passing. We will always remember how proud he was of his family and especially your riding skills, Sheri. The twinkle in his eye when he talked about you and various competition's was heartwarming. "Granny Shanny (?)" loved it when he would visit her. She often told us how much he helped when he was there. I believe he planted her garden when she was too old to do it herself. Tom hung the moon in her eyes.
When my parents were in New Jersey, they would often make time to visit "Tommy and Marie" and would share their visits with us. I'll be sure to tell my mom of his passing.
His kindness and warm genuine smile will always be remembered. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Kathy, Bill, Lauren and Stephanie (Gellenthin) Crane
