Obituary of Ruth P. Regensburg

Ruth Phyllis Regensburg (nee Golden), age 90, died on October 19, 2020 at her home in Glassboro. Born in Princeton, NJ to Philip J. and Alice M. Golden the youngest of six children, all deceased. Married Dr. George E. Regensburg and enjoyed 53 happy years. Together they raised three beautiful daughters, Christine (Alan) Robbins, Alice (Paul) Brown, Dorothy (Howard "Butch") Bruner. Ruth also had nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Alice and son in law Alan Robbins. Ruth was a home maker, accomplished seamstress and volunteer at Elmer Inspira Hospital where she worked gift shop and knitted baby blankets and car seat blankets for the newborns. She was active in St. Bridget Church as a volunteer in the parish center, Legion of Mary, rosary maker, led the Rosary at 8am mass, an Extraordinary Mister of the Eucharist, a lector and daily mass communicate for many years. Friends may greet the family 9-10:30am on Friday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be 11am in St. Bridget's Church, 125 Church St, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
