Major Brian Taylor Kelley, Sr. USAF (ret), age 60, died November 13 at the Vineland Veteran's Home. Born in Philadelphia, he lived most of his life in Pitman. He was a 1979 graduate of Pitman High School and a 1983 graduate of West Virginia University. Brian joined the ROTC in college and made a career in the military until his retirement in 2001. He served in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and was on the Libyan Raid. He was an instructor and navigator on the KC-135, and received several medals and commendations during his service. Brian was a life member of the Highland Chemical Engine Co. and also belonged to the Pitman Masonic Lodge #197 F & AM. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Norma Kelley, and sister Suzanne Homberg.
Survived by his wife Monica (nee Kelly), sons Brian T. Jr. and Brendan. Also survived by his sister Diane Kelley, brothers; J. Raymond (Patti) and Dr. Douglas Kelley, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, November 23 from 9:30 to 11:00AM at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. Funeral service and interment private.
