Cora Eileen Mick (nee Owens), age 71 years, died surrounded by her family on April 6, 2021 at her home in Pitman, after a 15 month fight against her Glioblastoma diagnosis. Born in Camden, she was raised in Blackwood, and was an honors student, graduating from Triton High School in 1967; she continued on to graduate from Camden County Vocational School as a dental assistant. She has lived in Pitman since 1973 and enjoyed summering in Cape May, NJ; walking on its promenade and exploring new restaurants. She also loved driving fast cars. She was a member, volunteer, past treasurer and vice president of the Mullica Hill BMX Association. Exercise was very important to her, she practiced yoga, pilates and training at local gyms. For her career, she worked out of the same dental office for almost 50 years, first as an assistant to Dr. Eli Sachs, then as an office manager for Dr. Shari L. Hyder. Predeceased by her brother Thomas D. Owens, Jr., and brother in laws; Robert Wilson and Daniel Frizzle. Survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert W. Mick, Jr., sons: Gregory T. (Daniel Meier) and Steven C. (Christina) and step-sons: Robert W. (Denise) Mick III, Jeffrey W., Todd M. (Lisa) as well as, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters; Sally Wilson and Barbara Frizzle, and sister-in-law Dorothy "Sparkle" Owens. Memorial service will be held at a later date in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME.
