Obituary of Lena C. Glaser

Lena Christina Glaser (nee Mastrangelo) age 82, of Ohio and Pitman, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021, surrounded by family and Max. Lena is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William Glaser and her children, Debra Gale (Glaser)- John, Donna Catterall (Glaser) –Mark, Billy Glaser – Teri, Diane Reitenbach (Glaser) – Randy, and Terry Hall. She was also the loving and proud grandmother and great grandmother of Laura, Lynda, Natalie, Ryan, Nathan, Michelle, Zachary, Nicholas, Michael, Jacquelyne, Alyssa, Jenna, Ronny, Joshua, John, Jeffrey, Beckett and Roman. Lena was known for her culinary talents and she passed them onto countless others. She worked at the Pitman High School cafeteria for over twenty years bringing her own special recipes and sass to the students. She continued to work at the high school by checking the student IDs until her retirement. Lena was the ultimate family person. Nothing made her happier than family vacations to Wildwood Crest or celebrating all the holidays with huge homemade Italian dinners and her elegant desserts. There wasn't anything she couldn't do when it came to being the ultimate housewife and entertainer. She will be missed by many. Funeral and viewing services will be held at Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave. Pitman, NJ on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9:30am-10:30am. Funeral mass will be 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
