Obituary of Wendy Lee Madigan

Wendy Lee Madigan (Dorman), age 66, died on April 25, 2021. Raised in Pitman, NJ, Wendy graduated from Pitman High School in 1972. She loved spending her summers with her family at the Jersey Shore. Wendy attended college at Gloucester County Community College and the University of Maryland and eventually settled in Willow Grove, PA in 1986. Wendy was an Administrative Assistant for Lower Moreland Twp. for over 35 years and created great bonds with her coworkers and community members there. Wendy loved animals of all kinds and accumulated an assortment of various needy creatures over her lifetime including an alligator, abandoned ducks, gerbils, and many dogs. She will be missed incredibly by her beloved dog, Hannah. She also took great pride in her gardens and flowers, especially the hanging baskets she had on her porch each summer that she attended to with a careful touch. It is no doubt that her most important accomplishment was being a mom, and later a grandmother. She was a model of strength in the face of great loss and adversity and one of the most selfless people you could meet. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Madigan, parents Ella and Lamb Dorman and her sister Bonny Dorman. Survived by her daughter Michelle (Rodolfo) Nunez, granddaughter Ella Marie Nunez and brother William (Mary Anne) Dorman. Friends may greet the family after 11am on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be 12pm. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
