Obituary of Ethel Mae Jefferys

Ethel Mae Jefferys (nee West), age 86, died on September 15, 2021. Born in National Park and raised in Woodbury, Mae graduated from Woodbury High School in 1953. She formerly lived in Poughkeepsie, NY before moving to Pitman in 1985. Mae was a Bank Teller for the Bank of Elmer for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, researching family ancestry, and time with her grandchildren. Survived by her children James (Maria) Jr., Jennifer (Eric) Neumann, William (Helena), Michael (Maria Eli), grandchildren James III and Samuel Jefferys, David and Nicole Neumann, Peter, Matthew (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Jefferys and brothers Wilbur and Thomas (Nancy) West. Friends may greet the family after 10am on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
