While I have many memories of my brother-in-law, Philip Britton, better known as Bud, a few years ago I was fortunate enough to spend a week in England with him and my sister, Barbara, touring Derbyshire. We stayed in a charming cottage which served as our home base for our daily trips to various historic and current sites.
In planning the trip, Bud asked that we go to the National Tram Museum in Crich. Even though it wasn't a site I would have visited on my own, the Tramway Museum was one of our most enjoyable stops. Bud had a fascination with industrial history and the products produced. It was heart warming to share that morning with him and the memories will always stay with me.
Bud was both low key and unique. He had a subtle sense of humor and strong values. I will always admire his love of family and his love and commitment to my sister. He will be much missed.
