Philip 'Bud' James Britton, age 84, a loving husband, father, friend and proud US Marine left this world to be with our Lord on October 3, 2021 at his home in Mullica Hill. Philip, an electrician, began his career at RCA and continued it at NASA and Owens Illinois in Glassboro before retiring from Progresso in Vineland. He was a member and Deacon of the Pitman Road Church of Christ. Philip was also member of the Marine Corps League and the Y's Men's Club of Glassboro. Nothing gave him greater joy than working with wood, tinkering with his treasures and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Barbara L (nee Bush), children Deborah Maurer (nee Britton), Philip J. Jr. (Justine), daughter in law Lora (nee Dempsey), grandchildren Nathan, Zachary and Jacob Maurer, Autumn, Zane, Carissa, Chloe and Cayden Britton and his half-sister, Naomi Bristol. Philip was predeceased by his son, Daniel James Britton, his sister, Loretta Britton and his son-in-law, William L. Maurer. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
