Obituary of Joan Ann Cressman

Joan Ann Cressman (nee Shivy), age 73, died on October 28, 2021. Joan lived in Pitman most of her life and was a graduate of Pitman High School. Joan spent more than 30 years working for the Pitman Jewelry Shop. Joan loved reading, antiquing, going down the shore and enjoying a glass of wine. Her dry wit was a welcome addition to every gathering. Joan's greatest joy was being with her family, especially her granddaughters and attending their dance and sporting events. She was predeceased by her husband Howard D. Survived by her sons Howard Jr. "Butch" (Trilby) and Brian (Jen), grandchildren Hadley and Emory, brother Bill (Sue) Shivy and nieces Melissa (Mike) Fives and Sarah Shivy (Evan Colna). Friends may greet the family after 9:30am on Monday, Nov.1, in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Wenonah Cemetery.
