Obituary of Mary Jordan

Sunrise: March 4, 1924 Sunset: December 10, 2021 Mary Elizabeth Jordan went home to glory peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021. Born in Aliquippa, Pa. on March 4, 1924 to David and Mary Barton, Sr., where she grew up on a farm and continued farming into her adulthood, especially during the time she was married to her husband Lott Jordan, Jr. (deceased). Mary and Lott had 2 sons; Ronald Jordan (deceased along with wife Dottie) had 2 children. He remarried and his surviving wife Carol Ann resides in Alabama. Mary's surviving son David Jordan (wife Linda) resides in Pennsylvania, also have 2 children. During Mary & Lot's 46years of marriage they owned and operated a small convenient store and then later had their own little Candy Factory in their basement in Chicora, PA. Mary also worked at Bobby Brooks as a Sewing Machine Operator and she also worked at Public's Grocery Store, in Florida, where she was their #1 Salad Bar Attendant. Mary was one of 6 children all predeceased: Alice F.; David B. Jr.; Denny B. (surviving wife Floss); Ella Ann and Arthur B. Sr. Also surviving are her great grand children, nephew and nieces and great nephews and nieces. Mary lived the remainder of her life (past 19 years) in NJ with her Chihuahua, Tiny (deceased 2017), where her Brother Art's children cared for her and enabled her to live a comfortable, happy and fulfilling life. We love you Aunt Mary and we will miss you so much. Mary will be laid to rest on January 8, 2022 @ 10:00am at Oliveburg Cemetery, 208 Sprankle Rd Punxsutawney Pa 15767.
