Obituary of Daniel A. Genovese

Daniel A. Genovese, age 90, of Pitman, died on December 28, 2021. Born and raised in Glassboro, Daniel graduated from Glassboro High School in 1950. He attended Temple University. Daniel was a proud veteran, serving in the US Navy from 1952-1955 on the USS Bottineau. He began his career as a Machinist at Owens Illinois in 1955 and worked there until his retirement. Daniel was a devoted Christian and member and deacon of Barnsboro Baptist Church. He was also a member of Pitman Fire Patrol. Daniel enjoyed cooking but most of all, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wives Regina (Simon), Frances (Jedrzejewsk), Joan (Moretti) and sister Marie Carter and niece Annette Carter. Survived by five children Maryann (Steven) Toomey, Debra Genovese, Donna Genovese, Jerry (Mary) Genovese, Antoinette (David) Gorman, grandchildren Lynda (Steven) Brooks, Eric Toomey, Helene Genovese, Jennifer (Donald) Thompson, Danielle (James) Nemeth, Lexi Genevese and great grandchildren Natalie, Averie and Maddie and niece Ann (Richard) Todd. Friends may greet the family 9:30-11am on January 4, 2021 in the Barnsboro Bible Church, 200 Jefferson Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
