Obituary of Marie Catherine Roberts

Marie C. Roberts (nee Mackey), 95, of Pitman, NJ died peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2022. Marie, a graduate of Pitman High School, was a long-time, valued employee of the South Jersey Gas Company in Glassboro, where she worked for 35 years. Marie was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, taking joy in her years of volunteer work with the church. She loved to travel, both with friends and on the many bus tours she enjoyed with the Senior Center. Her favorite trips were those she took to New England. Marie was predeceased by her son Thomas and brother Edwin Mackey. She is survived by her niece Alison Mackey of Williamstown, her nephew Drew Mackey of Albany, NY, her great-niece Gina (Bill) McAllister of Little Egg Harbor, and her daughter-in-law Susan Roberts of Jupiter, FL.
