Obituary of Ronald E. Essner

Ronald E. Essner, age 90, died on May 14, 2022. Ronald formerly lived in Pitman for 20 years and has lived in Turnersville for 23 years. He was a US Navy Veteran during the Korean War serving from 1949-1953. Ronald owned and operated Essner Aluminum Siding for over 40 years. He was a respected sea captain and avid fisherman, who enjoyed his western "leadslingers". Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Armstrong). Survived by his sons; Lee, Troy (Nancy), Dennis (Mimi), and Kevin (Barbara), grandchildren; Corinne (Tim) Land, Gavyn, and Seth, great grandchildren; Zachary (Abby), Noah, Morgan, Greyson, Colton and Hudson, great great grandchildren; Stella and Adaline. Also survived by his sister Doreen (Bill) Walker. Friends may greet the family from 7-9 PM on Thursday and 9:30-!0:30AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be Friday at 11AM in Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
