Obituary of Sandra J. Smith

Sandra J. Smith (Poolet), age 78, died on June 17, 2022 at her home in Pitman where she lived since 1977. Sandra was a bookkeeper for many years at EIRC in Washington Twp. Sandra also owned and operated the Wispy Lady Gift Shop in Pitman. She was a member of the Haddonfield Fort Nightly Seniors and was Queen Mum of the Red Hat Society. Traveling the world with Bob over the years, helping others in need as a hospice companion volunteer and spending summers in Ocean City watching Jake, Luke, Gavin and Sam grow up, were just a few of things that brought great joy to Sandy. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years Robert F. Smith., children David B. (Jennifer), Kimberly Ann (David) Kaschak, golden retriever Buddy, sister Claudia (Howard) Knapp and grandchildren Jake, Luke, Gavin and Sam. Friends may greet the family 7-9pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 and Thursday, 10-11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday.
