Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anthony James Reale passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2022, just a few days shy of his 92nd birthday, but is now at peace with the Lord. Tony will be sadly missed by his son Randall, who has been his full time caregiver for the past six years, as well as by his two sisters, Dolores Bergamo and Joan Wren, two brothers, Frank Reale, Jr. and George Reale, and several nieces and nephews. His loving wife of 64 years, Fern Peterson Reale, passed away in 2016. They met as teenagers while roller-skating and later married in Oklahoma in 1952, where he was stationed at Fort Sill. Tony served in US Army 235th F.O.B., from 1951 to 1953 and was deployed to Korea as minefield surveyor during the war. Tony was born to Mamie and Frank Reale, Sr.in 1930. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1948 and began a life-long career in HVACR services in the Vineland area, making him a familiar face around town. He worked at Lowenstern Supply Co. for several decades, where he became Operations Manager. He later moved to Barretta Plumbing Heating & Cooling, staying on for many years, and eventually working as an estimator into his mid-80s before retiring in 2017. He also attended adult education classes at Camden County Technical School and became a certified member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. Tony was a devoted husband and a wonderful father. He enjoyed gardening, watching baseball, tinkering with cars, watching birds and wildlife, and spending time with his pets. Graveside services will be private in Eglington Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
